Got bored of my Facebook profile pic. Decided to sketch a quick one out. Got two versions. Y'all can vote for which one looks better I also made a new one for Envy Cake cuz its profile pic's been the same since 4 years ago.

This was done last December after I flew from Brunei to Jakarta for the final time. Suddenly had the itch or inspiration to do one of these doodle thingies again after finding my old sketchbook

Last year I got a new sketchbook cuz my old one was running out of paper due to Inktober. During my trip to China I decided to bring it along for whenever I got inspired & had to sketch something. Turns out I was inspired, but didn't feel like drawing anything and for 9 days, these were the only thing I drew. [ X ] I feel pathetic. Only recently after being back in Brunei I started drawing on it again & so far came up with just two. Here's where the idea came from . They're Adam's Apples, a parody of Charlie's Angels. Was kinda high when we chat & Tina craved some apple slushy from 7Eleven. [ Soup | Tumblr | Molome ] The idea came from how I really want to be in a band but my talents fall in the artistic industry rather than in music. [ Soup | Tumblr  | Molome ]

Yesterday I made my own Cymera account (despite already having the app for over a year) and due to the excitement of a new gallery that needs to be filled, I walked around and took some photos. Wait, wait… previously I had a dream that night about doodling on some photos I took in Photoshop to be posted to Cymera, and so I had to try that out in real life… which turned out not as great as the ones I did in my dream, and it requires more brainstorming effort but hey I'm kinda happy with the results. Done in Photoshop (obviously). They look like they're suitable for notebook covers. [ Cymera link ] [ Cymera link ] [ Cymera link ] I went nuts on the last two.

This past month, since I've heard about Inktober, I've been busy doodling on paper and making use of my sketchbooks and some colored pens my siblings use for art purposes I found lying in the house everywhere. And that's supposed to be a good thing somewhat. That's all I got for this month... of course I could've done more but I started 2 days late. View separate inktober doodles here [ Soup ][ Tumblr ]

Thought I might do something doodlish and whimsical again. And obviously this is inspired by Foster The People's "Supermodel" album art but since this is traditional art I can't really do a perfectly crisp one. Plus, without a scanner, this is a pretty good shot that I had of it. First, it was just an excuse to waste this orange/brown marker. And it's starting to look pretty good but after a while I figured out the lineart needs to be thickened again, this time with the help of a red inky pen. Upon coloring, I thought I could use just the orange-brown marker to doodle the background lineart, but instead it ended up too dark so I decided to color the background first with an orange color pencil and THEN draw the shapes with the marker. Sadly this way the marker will run out of ink and that's when I decided to just use a stronger brown color pencil instead. Drawn before the bright orange color pencil splashes into the bg. Initially I wanted to use ...

Having no laptop around here's a few of what I doodled when my family was on a road trip to Hong Kong, Shenzhen & Macau. They're basically based on what our tour guides tell us (regarding the history of the places we're in) and stuff we experience ourselves. Btw I also uploaded some photos of the road trip . They're not much, and I was supposed to compile everything my family and I shot along the way so it's alright.

Song: "Ruby" by Kaiser Chiefs (with the exceptions of altered lyrics in the verses) Ruby the Copycat (c) Peggy Rathmann This took me about 3 1/2 days to finish (excluding time to think up of the lyrics). Just moments after I watched Ruby the Copycat I sorta got reminded of this old Kaiser Chiefs song. This isn't exactly a parody, more like... ehh.. I don't really know what do you call "altering song lyrics but not being funny" in one word. Basically in this story, Angela sings the whole song... with the exception of Miss Hart singing the second chorus. And probably in the finale the whole class sings the final chorus altogether. Also, I kinda noticed that in the last part Miss Hart's skirt isnt completely colored :( ah well. I'm kinda too lazy to fix it. I'm also too lazy to draw the rest of the kids joining Ruby hopping about, just blank snow people will do). And the part with Angela and Ruby wearing teal shirts & holding teal b...

I've written the fanfiction already but these are just doodles cuz I didn't have time for concept art yet due to the amount of work. Yes Owl City and Fall Out Boy are involved here, and the theme is clearly The Lorax so this should be considered fanart. More to come sooner or later.

Saw some doodles on the internet once & decided to make some of mine too. I was bored while doodling these on the sketchbook & haven't thought of any color schemes for each doodle yet until it was digitizing time. Here's the lineart. At first I thought I wanted to color them in a messy & uneven way, kinda like using markers. It feels okay using really light colors, but darker tones started to look less good while using the style. And finally, the fully-colored version. They kinda do look nicer this way though.

Back in Desaria before I prepared to move out, I found this old envelope once used by my friend cuz she was helping me gather questionnaires for my research methodology assignment. As usual, I'm too lazy to throw this now-unused brown envelope away cuz I still believe it can be recycled into some artsy stuff. Then I got bored & while still holding a sharpie on my hand I doodled this. Don't know where this is going... at first I thought of doing maze-only-looking doodles but got bored & added some black clouds & splashes & all that crap... then drifted into other things, like stars & tentacles & playing card suits & stairs & bars... and moved on to other combinations of everything I had in mind. Aftre quite a while it became THIS. (The scanner sort of cut the edges tho... Here's a sort-of-better view of the edges (though not that good cuz I was using my phone camera)

High as f**k notebook doodles. (eheheh the writings here is done by a friend of mine. I was just doodling on the page) Cuz they always say notebook doodles are often better than actual drawings, and well, ideas suddenly comes flowing in when you're sleepy. So VOILA. p.s. I've enjoyed doodling on used paper quite a few times too, & they're all right here in my dA , labeled as Recycle Dumps.
