In my office the graphic designers were given assignments to practice digital painting from a photo reference. The boss is currently nuts over Makoto Shinkai artworks (he's got the art book which he passed around to us) & told us to follow  tutorials from McLelun . Photo reference: This one took me 2 working days.

Yesterday I made my own Cymera account (despite already having the app for over a year) and due to the excitement of a new gallery that needs to be filled, I walked around and took some photos. Wait, wait… previously I had a dream that night about doodling on some photos I took in Photoshop to be posted to Cymera, and so I had to try that out in real life… which turned out not as great as the ones I did in my dream, and it requires more brainstorming effort but hey I'm kinda happy with the results. One time while still spending the holidays with my family, I got bored and colored one of my nails with my sister's gel pen. Added the blood stream just to make it cool. Took a photo despite knowing the phone camera quality sucks. And suddenly I thought of a twisted idea of making a tampon/menstrual pad commercial out of them. It just sounds lulzy I just had to make a mockup of those. And finally, THIS happened: Well not exactly a product commercial mockup, it could be just a campaign mockup. Ooh here's another one: Though I don't really know if I should show this to anyone (cuz this can be a sensitive issue to some) but really, everything I made here's just for the lulz.
