At the beginning of the year i was sorta drawn into this art style, or aesthetic, idk what to call it but Ive been trying to make some of my own. For this one I used Illustrator, compared to the rest Heres the one I did for Grab The heaven & earth beetles from Steven Universe heres an extra one Scila_e_Kanon's DTIYS Not exactly a DTIYS but this is based on one of MasaoMicchi's comics Fulmomary's Good Omens DTIYS

First up, the gift. drew this back in December. It's a gift for my best friend Kamila & her hubby Fajar, not knowing I uploaded it right on his birthday. yay` I saw another friend's drawing that had a couple riding a rocketship externally, with their cats floating in space too, & thought of making something similar. Kamila suggested rocketships are kinda mainstream so why not make them both fly on a Vespa? At one point they made these matching profile pics on whatsapp. Thanks for that.

Under Strawberry Vanilla Skies ( originally posted in my revamp blog ) 2010-2011 were the years where I'm all about tasting songs and seeing their colors, blame my buddy Reisha and binge-listening to Owl City. The title suggested that it's inspired from his songs but part of me thinks that I just felt like drawing bright red hair because of Soup.io? This year, I've started to take steps to become less bitter towards more successful & "lucky" friends & start congratulating them instead of begrudging them, which my friends have told me to like AGES ago, cuz I'm one bitter dingus. Though I haven't changed my mindset completely but maybe these tiny reminders might be a little help for when we all have those moments.

I'm really digging this DrawThisInYourStyle meme on Instagram & probably Tumblr too. It gives us a chance to interpret another artist's drawing(s) in our own way(s).
